Ayodeji Lapite, self acclaimed “Chief Dejjy” was born June 25th 1989 and he is 3rd of 4 children born in Lagos, Nigeria and migrated with his family to the United States of America to pursue the “American Dream”. The self acclaimed chief always had a passion for music, but also valued his education.

So before pursuing his music career, in the spring of 2012, “Chief Dejjy” graduated with his BA in psychology from the University at Buffalo in Western New York. “Chief Dejjy”, a New York based Artist also enjoys Djing in his spare times. He has some mix tapes under his belt.

Asides being Co Ceo of AAMEG, “Chief Dejjy” is also a part of the fast growing music group, Marvelle EMPIRE in The United States in which he helped co found with a couple of his friends from High School, In Brooklyn, NY.

Chief Dejjy’s music style is known as “Fuji Pop” and has since dazzled New York and the United States with several of his tracks which include tracks such as, “KaLojo”, “Tolongo” & “Oti Pari”.”Believe when others doubt, work when others refuse, save when others waste, stay when others quit, and you will win when others lose…”Yea that’s the motto I live by says Chief Dejjy.
